Dr. Alkhatib graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He received the Restorative Dentistry Award for Fixed Prosthodontics and the 2022 JM Anderson Academy of Operative Dentistry Student Award for his prominent achievements.

He also completed Associate Fellowship in DIODE Laser in 2016 at The Ohio State University.

He graduated as Summa Cum Laude and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery in 2013 in Cairo, Egypt, where he practiced dentistry serving underserved communities for two years. He is originally from Damascus, Syria where his passion for dentistry started at an early age, and is rooted in creating the best possible patient experience beyond just the appointment—with a focus on longevity of teeth and the importance of oral care for whole-body health and wellness.

Dr Alkhatib is a member of the Academy of Operative Dentistry, American Dental Association (ADA), Washington State Dental Association (WSDA), and Seattle-King County Dental Society. He is actively attending continuing education courses to learn up to date dentistry.

In his free time, Dr Alkhatib enjoys cooking, playing tennis, and playing guitar and drums. He also likes to take long walks in nature.
